Partners In Service is a corporate initiative capitalizing on Milestone’s size and reach to benefit our community through an exclusive partnership with the American Red Cross. In March 2008, the Red Cross began training Milestone corporate volunteers for their Ready When The Time Comes (RWTC) program. Milestone has many fundraising initiatives throughout the portfolio to benefit American Red Cross Programs, which may include:
- Golf Tournaments
- Casual Dress Fund Raisers
- Bowling Tournaments
- Carnival Days
- Haunted House
- Food Donation Drives
- Resident Fund raising Drives
- CPR/First aid trainings
- Annual Smoke Detector Checks
Ready When the Time Comes
In addition to fundraising and awareness efforts, Milestone has committed resources to the RWTC program. This is an extensive network of well-trained volunteers from local companies that can quickly mobilize in the event of a local, large scale disaster. RWTC volunteers serve as “reserves” who can be called upon when disaster response requires more than the normal corps of Chapter volunteers.
